Formscan By John O'Riordan - A dual scorer on the Flat in France, LOVE ME TENDER(13) can make a winning debut over hurdles. Sent off market leader for the Ebor handicap on his stable debut, the Willie Mullins-trained gelding ran a big race before weakening late on. Still relatively unexposed after just four career starts, the son of Tai Chi has the potential to do well over jumps this season. A highly consistent gelding in similar races in recent times, Tyson Fury rates a big danger. Although rated 11lb lower than the selection on the level, the Denis Hogan-trained nine-year-old has acquired plenty experience. Runner-up on his last two starts, Euro Agent has prospects of again reaching the frame at the very least.

I suppose a little worry carrying that weight - it is hard to give away weight even though he is a very good horse. We love him and can't wait until he goes hurdling. He has been schooled and he jumps well. He doesn't want soft or heavy ground, so it could be spring or summer jumping. We wouldn't mind a day out in (Royal) Ascot with him on the Tuesday in the 2m4f handicap. We will probably run him in that for the owner.He'll stay on nice ground there. We think a bit of him, he has been rated that high since he was a three-year-old. He has a big profile and has run in a lot of big races, and he was unlucky to meet the horse (Elegant Man) the last day here. I'm delighted for my mum as she has been waiting for a good one since Make A Challenge. He's exciting.
