Listowel Sun, 20th Sep, 2026  Danny Power I am just a bit upset over Mark, but I think he is ok. It was totally untypical of the horse, who just lashed out, but is a gent of a horse. I suppose it was his first time at school,. We've always liked him, and Mark liked him a lot. Mark had schooled him and was keen to ride. It was nice to win this race, as the last time I did so was with Al Eile first time out as well. We thought we'd have to withdraw but, in fairness, the IHRB were very cooperative and on the ball. Once I could get a jockey quickly, I could run and it worked out well. Darragh had always ridden for me, so was the obvious pick. Danny Power is still a baby and mightn't be a horse until next season. We'll find a winners' of one somewhere, but we'll mind him as he is a lovely horse.

Kilbeggan Fri, 24th Jul, 2026  Mysilverriverfeale She was fifty days off before she ran in Killarney last week, and I'd say she was just too fresh and keen, and that was a very strong mares' maiden for this time of year. Previous to that, she had spat it out lovely when she was second at Tramore. We just dropped her back in trip and left her roll away today, and she was a different mare. It was a bit of a worry going back so soon,  but it worked out anyway.

Wexford Wed, 22nd Jul, 2026  Sky Lord Sky Lord jumped well and galloped well. He has been frustrating to be honest but hopefully we have him back right again. I’m delighted for him and Basil (Holian, owner in Watchman Racing). We went over further the last day but I’d say he is just a two-miler and he loved that ground. He has got a gear so Darragh was saving that in today’s race. I presume he won’t move off her handicap mark as he didn’t beat anything so I’d say he will go back handicapping now.

Kilbeggan Sun, 31st May, 2026  Apple's Of Bresil He had a little bit of a suspensory issue, nothing major, and we just had to give him the time,. He’s a big horse and he always looked like he was going to be better over a fence. He goes on good ground so I’d say we’ll keep him going for the summer now. I’d like to get him to Galway if I can, we’ll see how he comes out of the race. There is a handicap back here in a couple of weeks. If he bounced out of the race we might look at that. You have to have three runs before you can run in any of the bigger chases. It’s a great first step so we are thrilled. Tim (O’Driscoll) is abroad, in either France or Spain. I can’t keep up with him. He’s had a good old time of it and we’ll keep him over there!

Downpatrick Fri, 22nd May, 2026  Mr Master Mac He has run around the country tracks and that is why we said we would come down here. He has all that experience. Tramore especially was a good run. He won his bumper in Sligo and coming up here, we thought he should handle the place, and it is hard to handle it. He's not the biggest, but he's very athletic and was well bought by James Hughes. Tom was good on him too. He's agile, he's small, and he can nip around these places. We will stick to the country tracks and try and pick up as many as we can.
