He got a bit worked up before the race last time, but was very relaxed here today. It was his first handicap, I thought it was a big ask, but he went through the race very well and was very professional.

Clonmel Thu, 8th Jan, 2026  Radiator Springs I'm delighted for the lads (South Ros Racing Syndicate) who have been great supporters of ours and had Annexation with us previously. We've always had a bit of luck, thankfully, and fair play to Colin Bowe who recommended this mare to us. She wasn't overly expensive, so it's great. It is nice to see her back up her first run (third in Naas) for us and we'll see what the handicapper thinks and see from there.

Cork Sun, 23rd Nov, 2025  Halsafari I have been one of the lads’ biggest fans over the years with what they’ve done with all those good horses and, even yesterday, they had a horse (Glen Kiln) finish second in a Grade 1. I have been friends with them and been curious about how they’d done things all my life, so was delighted when Michael asked me to take this horse a couple of months ago. I’m very lucky to have him and not too many have one out of Solerina. Between their three really good horses Limestone Lad, Solerina and Sweet Kiln, they earned €1.8m in prize money which is incredible even at today's levels.

Naas Sun, 9th Nov, 2025  Port Authority he’s a nice horse but we thought he’d come on from today as a lot of ours are coming on from their first run. We kept it simple and Jack said he had a blow. He’s very straightforward and I’d say he’ll stay further. He could be a horse that could go for the Formby Novices’ Hurdle (Grade 1 at Aintree in December) as a few of the boys are from the UK.

Gowran Park Sat, 8th Nov, 2025  Break My Soul Keith was happy with her, and it was straightforward. She was ready to start today, and I was confident she would win. Last year we were only killing time over hurdles. I wanted to go for a chase straight away and luckily enough Keith talked sense into me and said to keep her for this season. She got black type here in the Red Mills (Hurdle, finishing second) and I’d say she just didn’t stay the 2m4f at Aintree. We’ll look at those graded mares’ races and won’t be afraid to go against the geldings as well. We’ll try and stay to two miles and she’s definitely the best one we’ve ever had.

Cork Sun, 2nd Nov, 2025  Echoing Silence He is a lovely young horse, did it nicely in the end and the second horse is a decent horse as well. I got nervous after his mistake at the second-last but he jumped the last well and galloped out well. He is unbeaten and has done nothing wrong so hopefully he’ll keep progressing. There aren’t many options during Christmas so he could run in Leopardstown’s Grade One novice over two miles. I think nice ground is important to him.

Clonmel Thu, 23rd Oct, 2025  Spellacy's Cross He is very uncomplicated and has a great style of racing as he is very relaxed in himself. We're very lucky John O'Neill got involved in him and we're delighted with him. From an early age, he had been taught how to jump and he has plenty of scope. He is a brother to a good horse Rapid Escape, so is nicely bred. He really takes to fences but his hurdle mark also looks nice, so he can do both.
