Thurles Thu, 27th Nov, 2025  Rising Dust With his progress over hurdles, you'd be hoping he could do that, but I just wasn't sure if it was his time of year. I told the owners if we got beat today, I wouldn't be overly worried as he could be back in May and be a completely different horse. It was great to the get the nicer ground today and he jumped from fence to fence. Darragh loved it and said he could have gone around with his eyes closed. It was a nice performance. Nothing showed up after his previous run (beaten favourite in sixth at Clonmel), but maybe it was a combination of the ground and the handicapper catching up with him over hurdles - may have been the reason. We had to change tack and luckily we had this chase mark in the bank.

Gowran Park Fri, 3rd Oct, 2025  Watching The Clock It was great. She stayed at it well, Aidan said the race fell apart a bit. It’s great to get a winner, she’s a home-bred of Noreen’s (McManus). It’s always nice when the fillies win. She just about got away with the ground, I’d say. We’ll see what the handicapper does and look for something similar. This (William Hill) series is a great incentive, so fair play to them. It’s nice to get one on the board in it anyway.

Listowel Sat, 27th Sep, 2025  Rising Dust He was off the track for over a year before his Kilbeggan run the last day, so was entitled to improve, although they don't always do it. An 80/1 chance (Whatyouwant) beat us fair and square, so we had no complaints. That's racing and it'll happen again!. Earlier this week, it was nice to be able to tell Donal (O'Connor, owner) that I thought he had improved and his homework had gone up another grade. He galloped through the line strong, is going the right way and just wants a true-run race. He seems to have one gear and is fit and well now.
