Chris's Dream Brian (Acheson, owner through Robcour) suggested this race and it made a lot of sense. Robbie was brilliant on him and he’s a very good horse. His form tailed off a bit last season so we’ll have to watch that and it seems he doesn’t want too much racing. We went to Aintree full of confidence and he was well beaten and then he ran no sort of race at Punchestown.

Battle Of Midway It was a very long last furlong! He stays, he loves that soft ground, he jumped well and he gave him a great ride too. I suppose he might run again around Christmas. I don’t think three miles would be a problem to him. When he went to Cork the last time the ground was too quick and also it was a bit soon after Galway. . He’ll be a nice chaser next year and is a nice horse.

Rosgalme I'm from Mallow and am full-time with Mr Meade for five months. I will probably get a bit heavier as I'm only 19 but my weight isn't too bad at the moment. He is a nice horse and he stays really well and will go jumping hurdles now and run in those auction races which are a great initiative. I fancied the other fellow (unplaced Ballyhot Boy) more today but I'm delighted for Jay, even if he is from Cork! He is a lovely lad and had good point to point experience with his dad (Louis Archdeacon, trainer). He'll be riding plenty of bumper horses for me. The owners are from Roscommon, Galway and Meath and that's where Rosgalme got his name.

Henry Brown That's Mark’s 3lbs claim gone now,. I'm not saying he took me by surprise but he's a weak horse. We knew he stayed quite well but I think he'll improve a lot with a bit of time. He's a big leggy horse. He stayed very well and jumps very well so hopefully he'll be a nice horse. I'd imagine he'll go hurdling now. We bought him off 'Puppy' Power at the Land Rover sale and he's for sale.

Battle Of Midway He stays well and loved the ground. He seemed to outstay the other fellow (runner-up Thatsy) and he could go up to three miles now. His jumping was a bit rusty early but got going as the race went on and we'll see how we go with him. Sean said the ground couldn't be soft enough for him.

The Big Galloper He's a slow galloper but he got there anyway!. He'll go handicapping now. He had shown form on that ground before and we thought he had an each-way chance. It could have gone either way and thank God it worked out. I wouldn't like to be winning by those small margins all the time but anyway he got it done.
