Rosgalme I'm from Mallow and am full-time with Mr Meade for five months. I will probably get a bit heavier as I'm only 19 but my weight isn't too bad at the moment. He is a nice horse and he stays really well and will go jumping hurdles now and run in those auction races which are a great initiative. I fancied the other fellow (unplaced Ballyhot Boy) more today but I'm delighted for Jay, even if he is from Cork! He is a lovely lad and had good point to point experience with his dad (Louis Archdeacon, trainer). He'll be riding plenty of bumper horses for me. The owners are from Roscommon, Galway and Meath and that's where Rosgalme got his name.

Henry Brown That's Mark’s 3lbs claim gone now,. I'm not saying he took me by surprise but he's a weak horse. We knew he stayed quite well but I think he'll improve a lot with a bit of time. He's a big leggy horse. He stayed very well and jumps very well so hopefully he'll be a nice horse. I'd imagine he'll go hurdling now. We bought him off 'Puppy' Power at the Land Rover sale and he's for sale.

Battle Of Midway He stays well and loved the ground. He seemed to outstay the other fellow (runner-up Thatsy) and he could go up to three miles now. His jumping was a bit rusty early but got going as the race went on and we'll see how we go with him. Sean said the ground couldn't be soft enough for him.

The Big Galloper He's a slow galloper but he got there anyway!. He'll go handicapping now. He had shown form on that ground before and we thought he had an each-way chance. It could have gone either way and thank God it worked out. I wouldn't like to be winning by those small margins all the time but anyway he got it done.

Cats For Cash all the conditions suited him and the race was right. He has promised more than what he has showed but he's a gorgeous horse and he has won and that's great. I'd say he will go chasing and might go for those rated chases. He's owned by a good man, Liam Clancy, who has had horses with us a long time and is a big supporter of horse racing, so I'm delighted for him.

Bracka Lily Fair play to the stewards for letting us run (with Danny Mullins putting up 4lb overweight). They could have been very awkward and not let us run. All the owners are here and they didn't make too much of a fuss,. He rode her very well and is a very shrewd jockey. She's not overly big and I thought today we would put her in a higher class race and take the weight off her - it worked a treat. It will be something similar again, and if we get a bit of weight off her back she will be all the better for it. She was going well here the last day and she fell at the top of the hill.

Love The Melody The last day she was pulling. We said we'd let her bowl along today so she wouldn't pull. The minute she got in front she just settled herself and that was it. He got a few breathers into her and she did it well. It's great to have another winner (also on the mark with Travelwise at Naas on Wednesday). We will leave her freshen up a little bit. She wants a good cut in the ground like that, it's lovely ground. She is a very nice mare and has a future.
Kilbeggan Fri, 19th Jul, 2019
Payngo It was a good performance. Off her handicap mark we were hoping she might have put in a performance like that somewhere but her jumping just seemed to let her down. We wanted to come up here to Kilbeggan and we were looking at the handicap as well as the maiden today. The maiden cut up a little bit more and she's put in a nice performance. Hopefully she'll step up and it'll do her confidence the world of good.
