Listowel Thu, 24th Sep, 2026  Tell The Boys When things didn't work out for her at Wexford the last day, we said we'd plan to come here and everything went smoothly. She took her work well, we schooled her and she was nicely weighted today with all the allowances for being a four-year-old, a filly and a cheap-purchase, along with Kevin's 7lb claim. She is funny as she is always in sixth gear when you'd prefer her to be in fifth, but this course suited her and Kevin knows her. She only barely gets two miles so I told Kevin to slow her down whenever he could, and to let her breathe. She only cost €1,000 and these auction races are great, as she has picked up the bones of €18,000 including bonuses today. There are twenty lads involved for €50 a man and have now had two great days at this course, so I'm delighted.

Downpatrick Fri, 18th Sep, 2026  Anodandawink He really got the hang of it at Kilbeggan, with the undulations. I thought he jumped awfully well and he got a lovely ride. I'm sorry Ciaran isn't here today, he's had an operation, but he will be delighted. This will give him a tonic. Peter said the horse in front made him concentrate and then when the other one (Littlebiggie) fell, which was unfortunate for her, he still was focused. I think there is more to come from him - he's a good, little horse. I think he loves it now. Dot Love, representing

Galway Thu, 30th Jul, 2026  Midnight Jet He was tough, Darragh gave him a super ride and I'm delighted to get a winner here. He stays and jumps really well and I'm delighted for Tony and Caroline Head, who are over from Phoenix, Arizona. They are brilliant supporters of ours and of the game, so it is lovely to get them a winner here. Sam Curling recommended him to Tony and the horse has improved the whole time. He seems fairly adaptable ground-wise and with coming here always being the plan, we need to back off him now. He is only a novice until the end of November so we'll have to plot a course.

Wexford Wed, 22nd Jul, 2026  Anodandawink It is a big thrill to have my first winner for those (McManus) colours. We had Enjoy D'allen previously, who didn't work out, and they kindly sent us this lad, so this is my second for Mr McManus. He was a work in progress as a young horse so there was no pressure on us to find out his trip, and we were told to work away and try and win a race with him. We didn't have to give Harry (Cobden) any instructions, he told me what he would do and it was a lovely ride. He is a lovely horse and we felt he was in the right race. We had him in Killarney last week but Frank (Berry, McManus' racing manager) mentioned to wait for this and it was a great call. He loved the ground and is a staying type.

Listowel Sat, 30th May, 2026  Tell The Boys She ran away with it and she has improved again today. From her work, I thought she had improved, she is fast and is a proper two-miler. The boys (Money For Jam Syndicate) were unlucky with The Big Doyen, who had to be retired, and I had bought this filly at Tattersalls, who had shown plenty, so told them she was theirs if they paid the €1,000 (her purchase price) Tattersalls bill. I'd say I was just in the right place at the right time at Tattersalls, as a lot of people were gone for lunch at the time. She's not small and I met Sally Ann Grassick, who is breeder Stephanie Hanly's daughter-in-law, and she said that she was a grand filly. She came cheap so it is a great story and the pressure is off now. I'm delighted for the syndicate as they deserve this.
