Wexford Sat, 16th May, 2026  Workahead I’m delighted with that and I hoped he might do that. He’s a class horse and it’s lovely to see him back to form. He was really attacking his fences and when Darragh’s on board, they generally don’t have an option! He said he jumped brilliantly and Darragh was brilliant on him. It’s lovely for the Moloneys. We wanted to just see how he’d take to fences, obviously we’re delighted with that and now we can go home and make a plan. There is a race in Roscommon so whether we have one go at that or not I don’t know. You’d like to get a break into him as well but we might go once more. We’ll see what everyone wants to do.

Tramore Sun, 19th Apr, 2026  Spanish Maid She kind of got leery in front the last day at Wexford and pricked her ears, so the cheekpieces probably helped her today and we brought her back a bit in trip. She is a grand filly, jumps well and has plenty of experience. It wasn't the strongest of races, but in her own bracket she could be capable of winning again. She has a nice mark and as I said, it was a very weak race. I'm delighted again for Rory, he is in the road from us in Naas and we've had two winners for him this week, so it's great. They picked out this filly and bought her and hopefully he'll get a couple more. I'm delighted for Mike as well, it gives him a chance in that conditional riders race.

Naas Sun, 22nd Feb, 2026  Give Him A Chance They are amazing owners and they sort of give me free rein,. I thought the handicapper had caught up on him and didn’t think he’d progress unless we’d be better back at two miles on heavy ground. That was my last roll of the dice. I said to the lads after Christmas I’d freshen him up and wait for two miles on heavy ground. I was planning on riding him reasonably positive but then Tiernan came out and said there was loads of pace in the race. He gave him an unbelievably good ride today, he’s class and it’s great to have a stable jockey that’s able to ride like that. He was flat out on good ground, he wasn’t a summer horse. I always felt that he’d improve on softer ground. The horses are going well and it’s a credit to the staff at home, they are an amazing bunch of people. Anthony Elliott has looked after this lad for the last few weeks. I sent him to ride him up around the farm and forestry to do different things with him. It’s definitely been a big help.
