Killarney Thu, 16th Jul, 2026  Run For Mahler She’s a good mare. We were hoping for a good run, but after the last day it was just hard to say. He thought there was no advantage to keeping out, she loves the good ground. We were happy with her all through the race. She’d be a strong enough stayer and she’s very genuine. It’s great to get it, they are lucky owners for me. I don’t know what programme there is for her, I’d say she wouldn’t be overly well handicapped either.

Limerick Thu, 2nd Jul, 2026  Run For Oscar I was conscious coming here that today's course would be watered but wouldn't have markers, so I booked Danny as he'd be the best man to keep out wide. There is definitely 20 to 30 lengths in the difference, there has to be, and Paul Townend (on runner-up Daddy Long Legs) followed Danny as well. On ratings he had a bit to do, but we knew he had been working very well and we were hopeful of a good run. He has been a great horse, but I doubt he'll go for the Galway Hurdle as today was a bonus.

Limerick Thu, 2nd Jul, 2026  Eastmore Danny rang asking for permission to ride the horse out wide as he had walked the track and said it was worth 20 to 30 lengths by keeping out. I think it suited the horse being ridden on his own as well, so he had a double benefit really. There was probably a false reading for today's result and it is the jockey who should get the (handicapper's) penalty!. Danny would have ridden a bit for me in the past and it is his first winner for me.

Curragh Fri, 26th Jun, 2026  Reverend Hubert It was hard to fancy him after the last day. I thought he'd run well but I didn't think he'd win to be honest. The day he won in Newmarket, they went mad early on. The faster they go and, the better the ground, the better he is.
