Curragh Sun, 10th Sep, 2023  Lumiere Rock Lumiere Rock was running consistently well in real good company all season. She was just beaten in Ascot and just beaten in France the last day. She really did deserve her win in Group 2 level and won today like a filly that will hold her own in Group 1 company as she gets older. She has two obvious targets for the autumn, one in France on Arc day and one in the fillies race in Ascot on British Champions Day. We’ll see how she pulls up and she’ll tell us which way we go. She’s an exciting filly and will hold her own in either of those two big races. we think that potentially she can win a Group 1, so whether that is later this year or next year she’s a very solid consistent filly. She’s a joy to train and I’m sure to own for Michael.

Tipperary Sun, 3rd Sep, 2023  Caracal It's great to get our first winner for Al Shaqab (Racing) - we haven't had many runners for them and it's great to get the first win. He had been working smartly at home, but had been off the track for a long time so today was very much about getting him started. I thought it was a good performance against some good solid horses. He obviously had a hold-up in France, was off the track for an extended period of time with an injury and we have him for the last few months. We've liked him since he arrived, he will head for stakes level and is a nice horse going forward. He was a little keen and fresh in the race, I think he'll stay further and there is a Listed race in Cork over a mile which he could potentially go to, but we'll see how he pulls up first.

Naas Sun, 27th Aug, 2023  Mctenett He had a nice run the first (day) and he learned a good bit, he was more professional today. He looks like a nice horse going forward. We were happy that he'd get the six up here well. It was a nice straightforward ride by Dylan and it's nice to have a winner for Neil (Sands) and the Bronsan team. There is plenty of money in those auction races and there is a winners' race in Roscommon in early September.

Killarney Fri, 25th Aug, 2023  Nurburgring he was a little bit careful (jumping) but got the job done. He had a rating in the 90s on the flat and hopefully he can build on that win today. He coped with the ground which is a big thing for these horses ahead of the winter and we'll try and find a winners' of one now.
