Downpatrick Fri, 22nd May, 2026  Mr Master Mac He has run around the country tracks and that is why we said we would come down here. He has all that experience. Tramore especially was a good run. He won his bumper in Sligo and coming up here, we thought he should handle the place, and it is hard to handle it. He's not the biggest, but he's very athletic and was well bought by James Hughes. Tom was good on him too. He's agile, he's small, and he can nip around these places. We will stick to the country tracks and try and pick up as many as we can.

Cork Tue, 19th May, 2026  Carmel's Phoenix She is a good filly and it is good to get her maiden win out of the way. She ran very well in a Listed race here in April and 1m4f is definitely as short as she wants. The rain came in time, Gary was brilliant on her and got her switched off. He knows her well. I'm delighted for Pat (McCarthy, breeder and joint-owner) and John Young (joint-owner), who can't be here, and she is a nice filly to look forward to. She is a fine, big strong filly who we can go anywhere with.

Roscommon Mon, 18th May, 2026  Mo Anam Chara She did it very well. She has good form and she’s probably still well handicapped, I think,. She’s versatile, she can go seven or six. She shows plenty of speed. It’s my first winner for Kathleen, Ronan’s mam. We know Tom and Kathleen a long time, they are from Monasterevin as well, so I’m delighted to get a winner for them. We’ll see what happens now. If she’s claimed whoever claims her will knock good fun out of her, she’s a good sound horse. If she’s not she’ll win a few races for us.
