Declan Queally

Galway Tue, 6th Oct, 2026  Tomahawk Juke To be honest, I never had called him a bumper horse all along and kept saying to my father that he was lacking a gear for bumpers. He is a beautiful, big imposing horse and is a cool customer though. He didn't pick up the bridle at all but he stayed really well and is a grand horse. He was cheaply bought by the lads for €3,000 and we're in a nice position now, as he will make a nice hurdler next season. We will keep him to bumpers and I won't be in any rush with him now.

Gowran Park Fri, 2nd Oct, 2026  Sarahs Lawn I said I’d chance the oul Frankie Dettori off a small one! I might never get to do it again,. It’s brilliant, they are all local lads (For The Love Of It Syndicate).

Listowel Thu, 24th Sep, 2026  Tell The Boys When things didn't work out for her at Wexford the last day, we said we'd plan to come here and everything went smoothly. She took her work well, we schooled her and she was nicely weighted today with all the allowances for being a four-year-old, a filly and a cheap-purchase, along with Kevin's 7lb claim. She is funny as she is always in sixth gear when you'd prefer her to be in fifth, but this course suited her and Kevin knows her. She only barely gets two miles so I told Kevin to slow her down whenever he could, and to let her breathe. She only cost €1,000 and these auction races are great, as she has picked up the bones of €18,000 including bonuses today. There are twenty lads involved for €50 a man and have now had two great days at this course, so I'm delighted.
