Naas Wed, 4th Mar, 2026  Rocky's Howya That’s his kind of thing now. He’s ten-years-old and he’s had plenty of issues. He’s staying in one piece at the moment. He’s had tendon issues. Dave (Kiely) is getting a good return out of him. He’d been a long-time maiden. Between point-to-pointing and aiming for Foxhunters, he’d never really had a clear run. He’s a grand horse and he’s grand for that job. He’s a novice and a veteran! He can run in a novice chase as well, so he has a couple of options. I’d say the visor is after waking him up and Kevin is good value for his 7lb.

Leopardstown Mon, 2nd Mar, 2026  Adaboy Mushy He’s a nice horse,. He’d only been away once on grass, in Tipperary, but he had plenty of work done on the woodchip down in Curraghmore. He’d been working with all the decent horses so we thought coming here that he’d be fairly hard to beat unless he bumped into a very good horse. Fair play to the boys, Liam and Brendan O’Rourke of O’Rourke Construction in Liverpool. They thrown a few quid into the yard and I hope it pays dividends for them. He was green in his ways. He’s a fine big horse, around 17 hands, and I’m delighted with him.

It's nice to actually win a race with him and David (Kiely, owner) has had him a long time. In the original entries he was set to carry more weight, but I dropped him to weight him fairly and if somebody claims him now, so be it. If he stays, we'll try and find something similar. He has paid for himself this year again, so I'm happy out.
