Galway Tue, 6th Oct, 2026  Fire Coral She is a mighty mare and Philip said she is as tough as old boots. I thought the 8lb penalty might beat her but I was obviously wrong. I'd say the cheekpieces help her concentrate. She'll stay running as long as the ground stays any way right. She'll jump a fence next summer and I'd say she'll also win on the Flat next year. The seven-member syndicate are local, from Nenagh, but unfortunately are working today.

Sligo Wed, 30th Sep, 2026  Miners Bridge He’s a lovely horse and jumps brilliantly, but is very fragile and has had a lot of leg trouble. His owners (the CKC Syndicate) have been very patient with them and I’m delighted for them. Hopefully, we might be able to nick another one with him. There’s a race for him at Limerick on Munster National weekend, and we might go to Cheltenham after that if all goes well.

Roscommon Mon, 28th Sep, 2026  Greattobeable it was a lovely performance, he’s a lovely horse but I thought he might be a bit raw today. He’s always worked well, Roger Loughran pre-trained him and had all the work done. We have him for the last couple of months. He will be a nice horse although I didn’t expect him to do that today. There is plenty of improvement in him, I’d say. The first and second pulled a long way clear and I’d say they are two nice horses. I’m delighted with that and I’d imagine he’ll be sold now, hopefully.

Listowel Fri, 25th Sep, 2026  Fire Coral we were hoping she'd run well but I was a bit worried when the rain came last night. She has been running well all year and Danny gave her a lovely ride today. She is fairly straightforward, makes the running and goes along at her own gallop. She is very tough and tries hard. She is still quite well handicapped on the Flat and is a great fun mare. It was unfortunate for Philip (Enright), who had been riding her all year but couldn't today, although I have excellent riders to choose from.
