Formscan By Gary Carson - A serious roll of honour for this Grade 2 but it probably hasn't attracted the same quality this term. The mare BUILDMEUPBUTTERCUP may prove the answer in receipt of weight from her rivals. She proved very smart on the level in England, winning two bumpers and finishing a fine fifth in the Grade 2 at Aintree. She wasn't far off getting black-type on the Flat last summer and started her jumping campaign with a win at Navan. She probably idled a bit in front after quickening smartly to put the race to bed then before the last and there looks plenty more to come from her over timber. Ruby Walsh takes the mount on her stable-mate Harrie but he looks like he needs to improve a good bit after winning a moderate enough looking affair at Tramore last month. Felix Desjy probably sets the standard and although he hasn't quite lived up to his bumper promise yet over hurdles he has still shown a good level. Jetez won well in handicap company at Leopardstown and an 8lb rise for that win puts him on the top official mark here so he also has to be respected in an open looking contest.
