Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - It's been 421 days since Elixir D'ainay has been seen out in public and his movements in the market will hopefully be revealing. He won his last start in a mile and a half AQPS race for three-year-olds, and has since moved from Emmanuel Clayeux to Willie Mullins. Elixir D'ainay is by Doctor Dino's sire, Muhtathir, and I'd suppose he was principally on our radar here in Ireland in recent times through the exploits of his exciting son Envoi Allen. Anyway for a selection in this big field event I'll row in behind VISION D'HONNEUR. Gordon Elliott's charge tracked the leaders, and he was fourth approaching the halfway stage in a Leopardstown maiden hurdle on St Stephen's Day. He came with his effort in the straight, and after a slight mistake at the last he was one paced after in finishing five and three parts of a length fourth behind Klassical Dream. The French-bred can show the benefit of that experience now.
