He initially showed promise when making the running on debut over hurdles at Naas last January and while he subsequently failed to win over hurdles, has shown a return to his best this season and comes here following a promising chase debut at Galway. Today's race is a lesser chase than at Galway and his rider again takes off 7lbs. From Eden has a rating of 124 and while he disappointed at Tramore latest, has had a mini-break since then and comes here a proven soft ground performer who also has five chase outings under his belt. Sil Ver Klass was himself a useful handicap hurdler who similarly made a promising chase debut at Galway. He goes well on testing ground and should get involved at the business end. Diamond Turf is a fairly capable type who will appreciate the testing conditions and could do well over fences. Cherokee Bill's connections opted for cheek-pieces at Wexford latest without success and reach for blinkers today and he obviously needs to do better to win here.
