Permission was given for Raheeb (IRE) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring only and for Society Queen (IRE) to go early to post.
The winner Queens Gift (IRE), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at York on 14 June 2019 where the mare finished last of the ten runners, beaten by 16 lengths on Soft ground.
Michael Dods explanation that Queens Gift (IRE) appreciated the quicker ground on this occasion, was noted.
The mare was routine tested.
Following the race the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Fen Breeze (GB), placed seventh, revealed the filly to be lame left hind.
