Formscan By Michael Graham - Paddy Twomey's ONE LOOK (5) loves the Curragh with form figures of '1121242' and her runner-up berth behind Estrange in the Group 1 Pretty Polly over course and distance is notable form. She won this race last year and is a big player for further glory. Nyra, who was a Group 3 winner in Germany last year, looks to be coming to the boil in Ireland after a close second in the Group 3 Munster Oaks at Cork. Moody is in terrific form and gives Twomey a very useful second string on her step up in class. Francophone is down in class in a bid to spark her back into winning ways, but has plenty to find on official ratings with One Look.

She’s a filly that hasn’t a lot of racing done,. It might have looked like a bit of an odd idea to come with a penalty into a Listed race having won a Listed race but I felt that it was only her fourth run and I wanted her to learn a bit more. I thought she’d stay, without absolutely relishing the mile-six. I thought she had the class to stay. She was here to learn and hopefully we’ll go for the Munster Oaks next.

It was great to come here and win again at the Curragh. She seems to like the Curragh and is a lovely filly. Ascot didn’t work out for her probably on ground quicker than she’d like and a trip as short as she’d want to go. She ran over nine and a half furlongs at Gowran last year and we felt on pedigree that stepping up in trip would suit her. She was brave today and didn’t have the easiest passage through but won nicely. She’s won a Group 3 with a penalty so we’re going to have to look at better races. She’s in the Nassau, she could run here in the Blandford Stakes on Champions Weekend and races on Arc weekend. We’ll have a think and pick our spots but she’s a four-year-old now and will probably run more than she has in the past.

It was very important for her to win. I think she was a little bit unlucky the last time, she got in a bit of traffic and Ben said he never really got her out. She’s a good cruiser, a good galloper, and we always thought a lot of her. I maybe rushed her a little bit early in the year and then we took a big shot at the Oaks. It’s nice to get her maiden win, and speaking to Maurice, he thinks we’re going to keep her in training for next year. She’s a huge filly so I think she can only improve with another year under her belt. It’s testing ground and they came at her early so he said she was getting a bit tired as well. I think there is a big engine in there. As Ben says, if she can develop up into her size we feel she is a stakes filly.
