Formscan - CLASSIC MAESTRO failed to complete in the Grade 1 Ascot Chase last month, but this is more his level. Jennie Candlish's charge found only subsequent Grade 2 winner Jax Junior too good in a competitive handicap at Sandown in January and a repeat effort here should see him bang there at the finish. Ned Tanner won this last year off a 2lb higher mark and could bounce back, while Primoz is preferred of the rest.
