THE WIN £250,000 WITH BETMGM'S GOLDEN GOALS HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 2) Permission was given for Alvin (IRE) to wear a red hood to post and to be mounted in the chute.
An enquiry was held to consider interference one and a half furlongs out involving MONARCH’S GOLD, placed second, ridden by Rowan Scott and Alvin (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Callum Shepherd.
Scott was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he angled his mount right-handed, when insufficiently clear, causing Shepherd to take a check for several strides.
Following the race, Callum Shepherd reported that Alvin (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference one and half furlongs out and felt prudent to ease his mount as a result.
