Permission was given for Spirit Of The Wood (IRE) to go early to post; and for Wave Power (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
Shortly after the start, the winner, Blooming Legend (IRE), hung quickly left-handed, causing the rider of Parisian Scholar (GB), unplaced, to take back, which in turn caused MOGITHA (IRE), unplaced, to be taken off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Blooming Legend (IRE).
Approaching the final furlong, Kwidsin (GB), unplaced, hung sharply right-handed despite the rider’s best efforts, bumping the winner, Blooming Legend (IRE), and causing that filly to be short of room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Harrison Shaw reported that Kwidsin (GB), unplaced, hung right-handed in the home straight; and William Pyle reported that MOGITHA (IRE), unplaced, ran too free.
