Permission was given for Solar Edge (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
The raceday privilege request for Rock N Roll Rocket (IRE), trained by David Loughnane, to go early to post, was not submitted.
Loughnane was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted by 1pm on the day before racing.
Leaving the stalls, Solar Edge (GB), placed second, jumped left-handed at the same time as Triple Charged (IRE), unplaced, jumped right-handed causing Son Of Astar (GB), unplaced, to be slowly into stride.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Solar Edge (GB).
The winner, Rock N Roll Rocket (IRE), appeared to show an improvement in form compared with its previous run at Nottingham on 10 May 2025, where the gelding finished sixth of eight, beaten 6 ½ lengths.
David Loughnane’s explanation that the gelding was suited by a sharp turning track, was noted.
Rock N Roll Rocket (IRE) was routine tested.
