Permission was given for Gordon Norse (IRE) to go early to post and to be mounted in the chute, for Luckie Lucas (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the four-furlong pole, involving Luckie Lucas (GB), unplaced, ridden by Gina Mangan, William Marshal (GB), unplaced, ridden by Cam Hardie and Juno Star (IRE), placed third, ridden by Billy Loughnane.
Mangan was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as she drifted left-handed towards the rail, leaving William Marshal (GB) short of room and the rider to take a check off heels and to be carried left-handed, moving Juno Star (IRE) against the rail.
Following the race, George Wood reported that Le Pelerin (GB), unplaced, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong.
