Permission was given for Harswell Duke (IRE) to wear a red hood to post, and for Ey Up Its Jazz (GB) to go to post early.
An enquiry was held to consider interference 7 furlongs out, when the winner Ey Up Its Jazz (GB), ridden by David Nolan, interfered with Arkenstaar (GB), unplaced, ridden by Sean Kirrane.
The interference was found to be accidental as Nolan who was aware of Kirrane’s presence on his inner, had edged left-handed having received an indication from Kirrane that he was clear, but at the same time, Kirrane’s mount which was running freely, had taken hold of the bridle and run onto the heels of Nolan’s mount, causing Kirrane to have to snatch back for several strides.
Following the race, Kaiya Fraser reported that Trais Fluors (GB), unplaced, ran too free.
