An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong involving Hk Fourteen (IRE), placed second, ridden by Jason Watson, Rebel Path (FR), placed fifth, ridden by Olivia Haines, and Sensorium (IRE), unplaced, ridden by John Egan.
Being a 7lb claimer, Haines was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior rider.
Watson was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed under a right-handed drive without sufficient correction, causing Rebel Path (FR) to become short of room and switch off heels, which in turn caused Sensorium (IRE) to be taken off his intended line, and have to take a check against the rail.
Inside the final furlong, Jacquelina (IRE), placed fourth, shifted marginally left-handed which caused Binadham (IRE), placed sixth, to become short of room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Jacquelina (IRE).
