Permission was given for A Bit Of Spirit (IRE), Humidity (GB) and Pacific Avenue (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference on the run to the line involving Oceans Four (GB), placed second, ridden by Joe Leavy and Humidity (GB), placed third, ridden by Oisin Murphy.
The Stewards considered that the interference had improved Oceans Four (GB)’s placing as Humidity (GB) had become unbalanced and taken off its intended racing line as the ground and momentum lost was more than the nose which it was beaten and revised the placings as follows: First - A Bit Of Spirit (IRE), Second - Humidity (GB), Third - Oceans Four (GB), Fourth - Pacific Avenue (IRE).
The interference was found to be accidental as despite Leavy’s best efforts, Oceans Four (GB) had lugged right- handed, taking Humidity (GB) off its intended racing line.
