Permission was given for Showcasis Oasis (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
The Starter reported that U Turn (GB) was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn.
Tim Easterby was informed that the colt could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
The Stewards enquired into the circumstances surrounding the availability of screens at the start for this race.
The Clerk of the Course, who was also representing the Managing Executive, and the Veterinary Surgeon gave evidence, and a report was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.
Approaching the final half-furlong, Carnation Queen (IRE), unplaced, shifted quickly left-handed, causing Showcasis Oasis (GB), unplaced, to become crowded for room and have to take a slight check, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
