Permission was given for Beronia (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching two furlongs out, involving SHINNING PEARLY, placed third, ridden by Clifford Lee, the winner Blufferonthebus (IRE), ridden by Sam James and Beronia (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Billy Loughnane.
Lee was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he shifted his mount right-handed when insufficiently clear and in doing so took SHIINING PEARL off its intended line, which in turn moved Beronia (IRE) slightly off its intended line.
Approaching the final half furlong, the winner, Blufferonthebus (IRE), lugged left-handed, which resulted in SHINNING PEARL, placed third, being crowded for room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Blufferonthebus (IRE).
Following the race, Andrew Mullen reported that Who Wants Me (IRE), unplaced, lost its action in the final half furlong.
The Veterinary Officer examined Who Wants Me (IRE), post-race and had nothing to report.
