Permission was given for Jazzit (GB), No Knee Never (IRE) and Prefer The Sister (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference turning into the home straight involving Prefer The Sister (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Jack Callan and the winner, Cable Beach (GB), ridden by Saffie Osborne.
The interference was found to be accidental in that Prefer The Sister (IRE), which had shown a tendency to hang right-handed, had clipped a heel when Callan opted to switch his mount left- handed for a run to the inside of Cable Beach (GB), resulting in him losing a stirrup iron which he was unable to regain for the remainder of the race.
