It might be only a claimer but for the owners it’s like winning a big race,. His days are nearly numbered, he’s ten and he’s not as good as he was. To get him to win another race is great. He’s been in the yard for years and anything he does from now on will be a bonus. I’m thrilled for the lads, it’s brilliant. He’s in at Tramore next Thursday and if he’s not claimed he’ll probably go there again. He was in for small money but he was meeting horses fairly wrong today on ratings. At the same time I was hoping he’d be thereabouts as he always runs his race.

Tiernan was very good on him and he jumped very well with him - I keep saying his 7lb claim is invaluable to me. The superscript number on headgear bl² indicates number of times worn. A plus bl⁺ indicates more than 10 times where as red background bl¹indicates first time.
