Five were taken out of the Longchamp spectacular on Wednesday morning, with Thursday's supplementary stage still to come. Aidan O'Brien still has four engaged with So You Think heading a team that includes St Nicholas Abbey, Treasure Beach and Seville. He has taken out Regent Street and Wonder Of Wonders. As expected, Casamento has been scratched by Godolphin while last year's St Leger winner Arctic Cosmos and David Wachman's Giant Step are the others to come out. There had been speculation that Arctic Cosmos, entered in the Cumberland Lodge at Ascot on Saturday, could replace stablemate Nathaniel in the race if the ground is deemed too fast for the latter. John Gosden needs to supplement Nathaniel on Thursday at which stage Danedream and Meandre are expected to be added to the field.
