Meanwhile the going at Fairyhouse is currently yielding, yielding to soft in places, ahead of their all Flat fixture on Sunday. The forecast today is for scattered outbreaks of rain, heavy at times, with further showers predicted for tomorrow. The first on an eight race card at Listowel today gets underway at 2.15pm, with the Guinness Handicap over nine furlongs the feature as a large crowd is anticipated for Ladies Day.
