Additional race at Cork on Saturday At the request of the Irish Racehorse Trainers Association, Horse Racing Ireland has announced there will be an additional race at Cork on Saturday May 5th 2018 which is a maiden race for three years old fillies only over one mile, two furlongs and 50 yards to form an eight-race card. This race will close for entries by 12 noon tomorrow (Tuesday May 1st) along with the rest of the Cork meeting and the details of the race are as follows: 97H The Newmarket Fillies Maiden of E12,000 (Possible Plus 10 Race) Of which the second will receive E2,400, the third E1,200, the fourth E600, and the fifth E300 For three yrs old fillies only, maidens at starting One mile, two furlongs and 50 yards E84 to enter, E24 extra if declared to run Weights 9 stone * The time of the first race will now be at 1.30pm
