Ana O'Brien Sends Thank You Message

Ana O'Brien has thanked the medical services for the treatment she received following her fall at Killarney.

She suffered multiple fractures to her neck and back and her cheekbones.

It has been indicted she will be out of action for three to four months.

O'Brien posted on her Twitter account: "I would like to say thank you very much to everyone for all their very kind messages and lovely cards, I really appreciate them.

"I'm doing well since my fall, improving every day and please God will keep going this way.

"I owe a huge thanks to Dr Adrian McGoldrick and all of the medical team at the track, along with the Order of Malta, the air ambulance, Mr Peter Murchan and also a huge thanks to Professor Paul Redmond and all at Cork University Hospital.

"Thanks very much to everyone again for everything, best wishes, Ana."
