Rolling Star heads the weights for Saturday's Betfair Hurdle at Newbury after Jeremy Scott did not declare Melodic Rendezvous for the valuable handicap.

Barry Geraghty's mount is one of three runners for Nicky Henderson as he defends the title won by My Tent Or Yours a year ago, with Tony McCoy booked for Gibb River and David Bass for Vasco Du Ronceray.

His rival Paul Nicholls saddles two of the 22 runners with Harry Derham taking 3lb off Far West, while Noel Fehily is to retain his partnership with easy Ascot winner and ante-post favourite Irish Saint.

David Pipe has a pair to saddle too, with well-backed Greatwood winner Dell' Arca and Swing Bowler while there is one Willie Mullins runner in the shape of the hat-trick seeking Smashing.

Others prominent players in the market to have been declared are Jonjo O'Neill's ex-Irish recruit Alaivan, Philip Hobbs' lightly-raced Cheltenian and Vendor, one of two Alan King runners along with Montbazon.
