Bobbyjo target for Benbulben Mount Benbulben is on target for the At The Races Bobbyjo Chase at Fairyhouse on Saturday week. The Gordon Elliott-trained nine-year-old ran a respectable race to finish fourth behind Silviniaco Conti in the King George VI Chase at Kempton on his latest appearance. He holds entries in the Ryanair Chase and the Gold Cup at Cheltenham, and his next performance will go some way to deciding his target for the rest of the season. "He'll go for the Bobbyjo," said his owner Barry Connell. "I thought he ran OK in the King George, a few times he looked like he would just creep into it but he made an error four out and without that I think he would have finished third. "We've always thought he must go right-handed but I don't think he went that far right at Kempton. "What we'll do after the Bobbyjo is school him the other way round and see how he goes. If he goes to Cheltenham it will be for the Ryanair or the Gold Cup, one or the other. "After that I'd have thought the Punchestown Gold Cup will be his target. "What you need to remember about his King George run is that it was his first completed start over fences against the big boys outside of novice company."
