Trainer Jim Bolger and stable jockey Kevin Manning combined for a treble at Leopardstown today, winning the Coral.ie Handicap with top weight Mandatario
The son of Manduro gave 10lbs and more away to his eight rivals but in the end stayed on best for a third career win.
Both men were earlier successful in two maidens with Oh Grace and An Cailin Orga and following his hat-trick winner, Bolger stated “it took us a while to work him out but he appreciates the trip and likes that ground. Kevin gave him a good ride.
“He’s in the July Sale and would make a terrific jumper. He’ll be a novice for next year and will get good ground at Cheltenham!”
