Clonmel quick but wet weather forecast

Clonmel is currently good, good to firm in places ahead of their meeting next Thursday while Punchestown is soft ahead of their meeting the day before.

Those descriptions look subject to change, however, with unsettled weather forecast for this weekend.

The ground has eased slightly at Thurles ahead of their meeting today, with the going now good, good to yielding in places from the declared good.

The forecast is for rain to spread to all parts of the country today but clearing up tonight.

It is to be generally dry tomorrow but Atlantic coastal areas are set to be hit by heavy rain on Friday night which could effect Galway's weekend cards.

More heavy rain is forecast for Saturday while Sunday is to due to be wet and windy.
