Crowded House Update Brian Meehan will continue to monitor the progress of Crowded House before making a decision on his participation in the Investec Derby at Epsom next month. The three-year-old was sent off favourite for the Dante Stakes at York last week, but scoped badly after finishing eighth of the 10 runners. "Crowded House was found to have some mucus present when we scoped him after the race, and that helps explain his below-par run," the trainer told his website. "However, it was fine again when we scoped him at the weekend. "That is encouraging, but his blood is still not quite right. "We plan to make every effort to make it to Epsom, but he will not be rushed. "We shall monitor him closely this week and then see where we are before making a firm decision."
