Donohoe has Cheltenham in mind for Daboya Daboya (4/1) asserted in the closing stages of the mares' maiden hurdle at Thurles to bring up a double for Danny Mullins. This double Flat-winner made eye-catching headway to tack onto Jasmine Pearl on the approach for home. The latter was left in the lead when front-running Music Of Life departed four out. Daboya led narrowly two out, but even-money-favourite Jasmine Pearl soon rallied on her inner. Once they both cleared the last, Daboya proved the stronger in the closing stages as she drew four and a-quarter lengths clear of the 'jolly'. Miss Kingston was another three and a-half lengths away in third at 40/1. Dick Donohoe said: "Early in the race, it didn't look as though she would be involved. Danny said she made a few mistakes and didn't really travel, but then she switched on and showed some of her class from the Flat. "We'll have to have a think now as to where we go and, while we had planned to give her a break, Danny is anxious to keep going. We'll have a committee meeting and, now that she has won really well, you'd have the mares' novice hurdle at Cheltenham in the back of your mind. "She is a nice prospect and the syndicate are delighted with her. They were involved in Vischio previously and this one was bought to replace her." Additional reporting by Tom Weekes
