Downpatrick going update The going at Downpatrick today is now good and described as "perfect jumping ground" after some showers at the northern venue. Clerk of the Course Brendan Sheridan said, "There have been a number of showers here today, and the going is now good. I would describe it as perfect jumping ground." The going was officially good, good to firm in places earlier this morning. At present the weather is fine and bright.
