Elliott completes treble with new recruit Oldschool Outlaw in the bumper Oldschool Outlaw completed a 30/1 plus treble on the day for Gordon Elliott at Navan when justifying favouritism in the concluding Coolmore NH Sires EBF Mares INH Flat Race. The daughter of Walk In The Park was having her first run for Elliott having been placed both in point-to-points and a bumper for Garry Caldwell when also ridden by Harry Swan. The 2/1 favourite, available at double those odds overnight, travelled well to lead two furlongs out and after being pushed along to assert over a furlong out, kept on well for Swan to beat Royal Hillsborough by six and a half lengths. Some Pretender was a further eight lengths back in third. Elliott said, “I like her now, she's tough, has a good attitude and wants to win. "She'll be better when she gets a jump in front of her. We will probably go jumping sooner than later, I'd imagine." Elliott was also successful earlier on the card with Barbizon (13/8) and Kalypso’chance (3/1). Quotes by Michael Graham
