Fairyhouse braced for heavy rain Fairyhouse will continue to monitor the situation as heavy rain is forecast to hit the track today. The course is currently heavy, soft to heavy in places ahead of tomorrow's jumps card. The racecourse tweeted this morning:- "Just starting to rain @Fairyhouse at 6.45am looks like a wet couple of hours ahead." They later added:- "3mm rain and counting @Fairyhouse this am.Forecast wet and windy." Punchestown race on Sunday and the ground on the hurdles track there is currently soft to heavy, soft in places. The chase and cross country tracks are soft to heavy.
