Following an inspection this morning, the track at Fairyhouse is fit for racing and the fixture today goes ahead.

The ground is soft to heavy. Fresh ground on hurdle track each day and on chase track on Sunday and Monday. Mainly dry today with showers forecast for tomorrow and Tuesday.

Amended distances today: Race 2 will now be 2m175y and race 5 will now be 2m.

Clerk of the course Brendan Sheridan said: "The track is fit for racing, we are all good to go. Thankfully, we only had just shy of 2mm of rain since yesterday morning."
