Fortunes back in the money World Of Fortunes got a lovely run through on the inner turning for home to land the mares handicap hurdle under top-weight at Ballinrobe. The Liam Kenny-trained mare had disappointed when jumping poorly on her chase debut at Tramore last month but bounced back in fine style. Tiernan Power Roche produced the 6/1 shot to lead on the bend and she kept on well in the closing stages to record a half-length win over Its Not Over Yet. Power Roche: "She's usually Jordan Gainford's ride but the lads just wanted to take a few pounds off her back. “He told me all about her jumping, it's not that she's bad but she can be a bit slow into the boards or get a bit high behind. “I probably wasn't helping her today because I didn't know her very well, but she obviously has that bit of raw ability to carry that weight on that summer soft ground. "I was delighted to ride a winner for James (Kenny, son of trainer Liam) because we go back a long way in point-to-points. “James told me to keep wide for a bit of light and I was thinking of every excuse on the way around as to why I didn't follow his orders, but her ability got her through."
