The going at Limerick has improved slightly to soft to heavy ahead of their National Hunt meeting following a dry morning, with the first on a seven-race card getting underway at 1.45pm.

There was no overnight rain at Greenmount Park, and a big crowd is expected as the track plays host to local students both today and for their Flat meeting tomorrow (first race 1.55pm).

Looking ahead to the weekend, the ground at Navan is currently soft for their Saturday Flat fixture which features the Group 3 P W McGrath Memorial Ballysax Stakes.

A two-day meeting at Tramore commences on Sunday where the going is currently soft (heavy in places). The weather will be dry today with some light rain tomorrow morning which is forecast to clear later.
