Goldrush features in Blue Wind entries Goldrush could put her unbeaten record on the line in the Plusvital Irish EBF Blue Wind Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday. The impeccably-bred filly, by Frankel out of Group One-winning mare Alexander Goldrun, did not run as a two-year-old but did nothing wrong in three starts. She might get the chance to step up to Group Three company after two wins at Listed level. This race was only introduced in 2001, yet her trainer Jim Bolger has a record six victories to his name. The Co Carlow handler also has Panstarr and Turret Rocks among a total of 14 entries. Aidan O’Brien has no fewer than eight possibles, headed by Magical. The three-year-old was fourth on her comeback at ParisLongchamp last month. Others in his formidable party are Clear Skies, Athena, Ballet Shoes, Bye Bye Baby, Easter Lily, impressive Cork maiden scorer Flattering and Queen Iseult. Completing the list are Dermot Weld’s Leopardstown maiden winner Jaega, Ger Lyons’ Elegant Pose, who disappointed in the Dahlia Stakes at Newmarket on Sunday, and I’m So Fancy, from Jessica Harrington’s stable.
