Gowran Park re-scheduled

Horse Racing Ireland has announced that the Gowran Park Meeting which was due to be held last Sunday (Sunday 26th April) but was cancelled due to waterlogging will now take place on Wednesday (E) 6th May 2009.

Fresh entries for this meeting (Meeting No. 355) close by 12 noon on Thursday 30th April 2009 with declarations to run to be made by 10 am on Tuesday 5th May.

The programme of races for this meeting has been amended and now reads as follows:

A. 3+ colts & geldings M'dn ? 7 furs

B. 3-Y-O fillies M'dn (EBF eligible) ? 7 furs

C. 3+ Open H'cap (100 = 9st 12lb) ? 7 furs

D. 3+ H'cap (Rated 50-70) ? 7 furs

E. 5-Y-O M'dn H'dle ? 2m 4 furs

F. 4+ H'cap H'dle (Rated 81-109) ? 2m 4 furs

G. 4+ M'dn Bumper - 2 miles

The time of the first race will be at 5.30 pm.
