Ben Dalton returns to race-riding at Gowran tomorrow where last season's Irish Grand National winning jockey has his first ride since fracturing his wrist in November.

Dalton, who steered Liberty Counsel to a 50/1 win in the 2013 Irish National, fractured his wrist in a fall from Prosperity Square at Thurles on November 28 and has been out since then.

Dalton, who is based with trainer Conor O'Dwyer, said “I'm back riding out a fortnight and have been doing plenty of work in the gym too. My wrist feels good and I'll continue to ride for whoever wants me; my agent is Gary Cribbin.”
