She's Got Grit could bid to complete a hat-trick of victories in the Woodlands Park 100 Club Leinster National at Naas on March 9.

Trainer Terence O'Brien is eyeing the three-mile handicap chase for the in-form mare, who has chalked up wins at Fairyhouse and Navan.

"She'll probably go to Naas in March for the Leinster National," said the County Cork handler.

"I'd have no problem with her going three miles as I actually think the extra half a mile would be a big help.

"We gave her a bit of a break to freshen up and she hasn't been ridden out since but we'll probably ride her back the end of next week and get her ready.

"It's great for the people who own her. She was an eight-year-old maiden mare last year when I got her and for people to pay out training fees for one like that was a brave move. I'm delighted it's paid off for them.

"She has her black type now and they have a few quid in the pot so it's worked out well.

"You need them to keep improving like she's done and I think the bit of extra distance the next day will even suit her better. They travel a bit faster over two and a half miles and, as she isn't the quickest, she'd struggle a bit for toe.

"She shouldn't have to work as hard at Naas. She'll be able to sit in a bit longer and won't have to take them on as soon. With any small bit of improvement I think she'll have a great chance."
