Ground eases at Clonmel and Curragh

The ground at Clonmel for today's meeting is now good, good to yielding in places on the hurdle and bumper course and good on the chase course following rain.

The seven-race card gets underway at 2.25pm, with the feature being the 4.35pm Irish Stallion Farms EBF Captain Christy Chase over three miles.

It is worth €22,000 and the odds for the six runners range from 2/1 to 8/1 in a competitive contest.

It's currently raining quite heavily at the Curragh. The ground was described this morning as yielding on the straight course and good to yielding on the round.

The going has since been changed to soft on the straight course and yielding to soft on the round.
